Preston Barnwell graduated from Georgia State University’s Masters of Taxation program in 2011. Mr. Barnwell then joined the Corporate Federal group at a large multinational public accounting firm. He worked on Federal and State tax return compliance, tax provision compliance and review, Federal tax consulting (including Section 199 and R&D studies), and SALT consulting. In past positions, he focused on credit and inventive work for large multinational retailers. Mr. Barnwell joined the firm at the beginning of 2014. Mr. Barnwell is acknowledged as singularly focused on his clients’ needs and his leadership ability. Mr. Barnwell has done presentations for the Council on State Taxation and the Tax Executives Institute and has also served on the Income Tax Selection Committee for the Institute for Professionals in Taxation Income Tax Symposium. He holds a Certified Public Accounting license in the state of Georgia.
